Internship is 100% similar to a real job, except the paycheck part

When I was designing a web app for a client as an intern, still is, I sat around my desk looking over my shoulder thinking well...I will just put up a few pages(about me and contact us) then copy some images from google and done!
Next morning I got this really long email from her, I thought the bible went secular, she complained about me taking my time to waste hers.
My boss came growling and the best I had was, 'I thought I was just an intern'. Mostly I'm comfortable writing php code and js. Designing doesn't work for me.
He finished listening and then yelled, 'Well go learn something about graphics!!'
I forgot what interns do for the clients is to be similar to what other guys do, the ones on payrolls. Only as an intern you get to be forgiven for some things like forgetting to tell the boss you don't know Illustrator.
We are forgiven for forgetting to take lunch and coming late and finishing assignments too early, of course it's not done properly that's why it's finished early.
